Having already planned and done the Midnight Run this year, I thought my night/glow costuming for the summer was one and done. Then Brad (where were you tonight, Brad?) announces the return of The Glow Run 5K. It wasn’t a true return for me since I hadn’t ever done in The Days Before. So, I got to bring out my DJ shirt, The Matrix cap, and a new set of ultra-reflective shorts. I rather liked doing the typical 5K course at Longview in reverse. The long downhill at the end was… Gucci? Sigma? Not sure what the youngins say anymore, but “Cool” to us oldsters. I hung out for pics with the cool kids, er, my run peeps were giving me life afterwards. Also, good I checked the results table before I bounced, got a first place age group award (extra bling). Short night to recover before the Hearts for RMHC 10K in the early morning.
