Week 229, August 10. What do we do when the air tastes more like autumn than the Dog Days of August? We dress ankle to wrist, that’s what! This was once going to be some kind of train engineer short sleeve bit, but I decided that this called for an appearance by Caltech’s smartest train lover, Sheldon Lee Cooper, PhD. I’m never crazy about all-cotton shirts, but that woodcut design would have been a monster to weed on the Cricut. I kept a decent pace as I was using this as a 5K time trial, and did no additional miles. The run crew was split between a few events, but I left with Scout fur on my leg, so that made me pretty happy.
