Week 257, race 1 of 2, March 8: Sweet dreams are made of cheese… And the chips are free (Time to P̶a̶t̶t̶y̶ Paddy 10K)

Double-booked today, kinda. The John Brown 10K/half was rescheduled for today, but I loved what I had going for the Time to Patty 10K and I had to… Hang on. Legal is telling me I must refer to this race by its registered nomenclature of “Time to Paddy.” Anyway, I followed the “glitter on the highway” using my “red iPhone” (like a lover). “Sweet dreams are made of cheese” for this patty, and it was “money for nothing and the chips for free!”* Well, not money, but a sweet lil’ age group award (one and only in my age group) and a Lucky Charms bar for the road. Afterward, “here we are now, in containers” with all the leftovers I guess. Saw a decent cadre of my people that either didn’t want to drive as far, or that stick to 5K only.

*How many other lyrics can you correct?

Kilt is from the Westport St. Patrick’s Day Run, and the hat might be from a carnival? Both are from The Before Times. Cheeseburger tunic from Rubie’s.
