A race series with a time travel theme? At least give me a challenge! I did a little research and discovered it’s Tom Thumb Day, i.e. the 1838 birth date of Charles Sherwood Stratton, who became one of the “wonders” at P.T. Barnum’s American Museum in New York City at the tender age of 4. Of course it was the bamboozler himself that I portrayed, albeit with a ski mask against the biting cold. The accolades roared in: “I love this song!” “10 out of 10!” and my favorite, just seeing people sing along. I snagged a 3rd place AG award, which only seems to happen at Bodies 10K events for me. Two races in a week, though not the weekend, with one already notched 3 days ago.
