No races this weekend, which was fine because this was my week on call for work. The freehand fabric paint made it absolutely pop. It’s always a challenge to wear full-body bodysuits, but a couple of well-chosen tears at least gave me access to my watch. It was fun to get back to my roots 
with a solo run, just me, loud music, and whoever honks or slows down to take a photo. Completely unintended tie-ins for locations passed: Woodson St., Walnut View, Mission Oaks, Maple St., Birch St., Ash Dr., Rosewood Dr., Sherwood Dr., and Cedar St. I just drew what kind of resembled a leaf, and did not notice the woodsy signs until I was running it. Honestly! Look for this one to get raked into the rotation next autumn race season.
