Bringing back one of the O.G. ‘fits that first appeared during the Covid Summer. Last minute change to the playlist, though, and it was a huge improvement. I was struggling to find more tunes for bath/shower etc. except for the same 3 kids’ songs. But searching for “songs to sing in the shower” hit the jackpot! As is often the situation, a few hard-working safety pins kept everything together. It was fun as it has been each May to see the various students and sponsors from Let Me Run, Cornerstones of Care Ozanam, and a nearby elementary school. One run friend said I gave her a big smile when she needed an energy boost on her return loop. Another didn’t say anything because she didn’t know it was me (but I mean, come on…). And one random runner said I “pumped her up” with the tunes and all-around fun. Who knows what long-ago costumes might finally get race exposure soon?
