A classic that I couldn’t resist as the 99.9% perfect Christmas movie reached its 20th anniversary. I was ready with the quote replies. “Bye Buddy, hope you find your dad.””Thanks, Mr. Narwhal.” “Nice outfit/costume!” “Thanks. It’s not a costume, I’m an elf. Well, technically I’m a human but I was raised by elves.” And of course endless iterations of “I know him!” and “Who the heck are you?” A tight schedule between a run team year-end breakfast and running more miles after the race meant not as much time to hang out. I got to see my pal the Bearded Runner who is fighting cancer and still came to walk with his family. Afterwards, got a fun photo with a whole family of humans that share my affinity for Elf culture. As I headed back towards the North Pole, it was nearly nonstop honks and waves. I even saw a Parks & Recreation employee taking a video from his truck.
