A biomechanics triumph! There were several new elements: a Dollar General pencil bag to hold the control box for the light (worked flawlessly), dowels to hold the star up (still had trouble keeping it on my head), and a good 8-10 jingle bells because, hello, Jingle Bell Run. But let’s talk about those gift shoes. The left foot “box” was time-consuming and super messy to create out of furniture foam, but it stayed in place with zero issues. The right foot bag was a last minute idea and should have worked great, but I accidentally glued the frame inside it upside down, so it flopped around a lot. But when several people asked afterwards how they worked, all I could say was it forced me to pick uip my feet more. I’m a shuffler/glider, so that was a very good thing. This one will likely evolve and gain even more features in years to come. I loved Chicken N Pickle for the venue. The course was the same as one from the summer, but there’s way more space.
