Oops, there’s a disco ball Upside my Head! Time to put on my Boogie Shoes! (Their final miles before this pair is retired; thank you for your service.) Got the yellow-out group photo, then had some help holding my flashy lights, and it was ON. A very splashy course today after so much rain yesterday, but full of fun, high-fives, and knucks. It was a Celebration all the way to the finish, by way of some Upside Down bits (AKA slick hill down, steep climb back). I said “I Will Survive” and I did. It was fun to stay do the YMCA across the finish, then I got my Funkytown shirt off and ran a few more of silent disco for good measure. I had to miss Kyle’s champagne shower to close the KC Hustle Run. Phooey.
