Not an official virtual race, but I wore this same costume at Running with the Cows in 2019. Lots of foot traffic on the Indian Creek trail, and who doesn’t recognize Woody? I can recall the exact moment when I rounded the corner onto Nall Avenue, got an especially enthusiastic wave and shout-out from a complete stranger, and thought, “If food trucks can have social media to announce where they’ll be, why can’t a weirdo running in costumes have one?” And KC Cosplay Runner was born that day.
