Week 86, October 30 (part 1). Back at the Monster Dash 5K in OPKS. A repeat costume but first time in a race. I wasn’t the only Waldo, but the other one said I “won.” KC Running Company organizer Brad joked with me, “I see you didn’t even dress up” i.e. it’s a day when everybody joins the fun, so I don’t stand out like the giant inflated pumpkin or the husband/wife outfit swap (complete with beard on her and sports bra on him). A few extra miles on a favorite trail, where I kinda crashed a photo shoot and had a guy ask me if I had lost a bet. Nope, it’s just what I do.
