First time doing the Rock the Parkway 5K (have done the half many times), and due to pandemic uncertainty, it was scheduled for late August rather than mid-April as usual. Big difference! I was nearly drenched before the start line just from a mile warm-up. Not as outrageous a ‘fit, but still got a few recognitions. Props to the guy who ran in a jacket, tie, khakis, and all-cotton shirt! Apparently he came in last in last year’s fantasy football and this was the bet.
