A new event in the Donot Stop half marathon, 10K, and 5K by Bodies Race Company – Kansas City. Nice to be so close to home, but wow it was drippy even without rain. I definitely didn’t think through the biomechanics of running 3 miles while holding a hula hoop! Tons of smiles and compliments but my favorite was the folks afterwards who wanted a photo with me. One even said I was a national treasure! Nick Cage eat your heart out.
