Second year for this 5K, although I originally signed up for the half. If I manage and space my half marathons next year, maybe that will finally be when I conquer this half. As it was, not as murderous as last year’s temps, but still plenty of mug. I talked myself into another partial loop to make up my planned run time. Fun as ever to see many of the run fam, including a friend who has been battling a health issue. Scout was being a very good boy, but he didn’t quite fit the look to play Dino. I tried a few leaps at the finish line, so I’m glad the photographer caught me fully in-air for at least one. Here’s hoping for a little rest/down time before I’m back for another 5K at midnight!
