I was glad to get this guy back out on the streets. Last year’s bomb cyclone vs. today meant a “feels like” swing of over 50° warmer. I started out looking like George C. Scott, sans the magnificent sideburns, but I quickly looked more like Patrick Stewart, because that wig was just too much volume. I thought I had it tucked into my belt, but now there’s a pile of grey hair somewhere downtown. The most recognition and comments came in the Longfellow neighborhood into North Hyde Park. I definitely had to break character going by Washington Square Park as I ran through/next to an outreach to houseless folks, exactly those who would have been harmed by my fictional but true-to-reality persona. What do you think, should this guy come back for a race sometime?
