It was SO nice to sleep in my own bed, get in the car after 8:30, and make it to a race a mile away with plenty of time to spare. It was a small race – just a few hundred with everyone and less than 150 finishers in the 5K – but the only face I recognized other than Mrs. Roo was the Bodies Race Company coordinator. It’s an extremely familiar course for me; I often run it weekly if I’m not out and about with work. Thankfully there was much shade as the fur on the onesie didn’t breathe. A fun little event that I only knew about because I saw signs for it along – get this – the Line Creek Trail!
