This one has been over 2 years in the hopper, and it tried really hard to not happen today either. It’s an odd distance that could only fit at certain points in my training rotation, but with it being a route drawing, it always got bumped for races. I wish it hadn’t been so cold and windy, but I made a few people smile, so as always , totally worth it. Also, Happy International (Gentle)men’s Day – real made-up holiday as amended in a marketing email I got today.
