Back at the Heritage Park “HP3” events, but gave the 15K a shot. Guaranteed PR! So great to see many of the Let Me Run boys as well as Cornerstones of Care Ozanam runners and an Olathe elementary club. As always, I have my favorite moments, but this one was an unbreakable tie. Another run group (or yoga, or wine, who knows) was hanging out at a park shelter and gave me rousing ovations on both the out and back. This on the heels of a park ranger on a fat-tire bike who drove right into the marshy grass and then said, “You caught me off guard!” I again lacked Moses’s knack for parting waters, so I ended with muddy legs like most others.
