A wee bit warmer, just fine since I had to drop a layer to get me legs a-shinin’. So amazing to back on the streets of Westport for my 10th consecutive year running the St. Patrick’s Day 4 mile run. I found another rainbow: a “centipede” team of 4-5 people lashed together. Thanks to Kapow Meggings, my gams were the hit of the day. I love seeing people laugh at my craziness, but the highlight was the KCMO police officer who was cracking up! Real talk to the course monitor my wife overheard near the finish line… If you don’t like the music, you don’t have to say anything. The comment to other runners to “Run faster so you can get away from his music” was 0% classy. I was playing “Rocky Road to Dublin” in a St. Patrick’s Day run, you goof.
