Just like that, my 2024 racing days was over. Oops, sorry. Wrong character. I just had to bring biker/bad Santa back from one more ride. The last time he appeared (2019), those were actual jeans. I had yet to learn about the divinity of meggings. I have complicated feelings about costume contests, but I’m glad I participated. The individual prize (tied with two of us) was a basket of Ghirardelli including caramel that I knew Mrs. Cosplay Runner would love, as well as some dark and mint for me. Great to see the run fam one last time before the end of the year. Wish I could have stuck around, but again we had #goals to make it to church. On time today! There will be solo runs before the end of December, but I’ll be back for the Hangover Half in just 2.5 weeks. Because I’m totally ready to run that far that soon. It’s considered a pop-up, so no clues, but I hope you’ll think it isn’t half bad.
