This would have been the second run of the day, but I called the audible when I woke up to wind chills below zero. Trouble is, the afternoon was already crazy busy and had little room for messing around. Ms. Cosplay Runner had a self-care session booked long ago that was to end a mere 30 minutes but only a mile away. She eventually got to McFadden’s but I had to get there sooner. It was fun seeing one of my earliest run friends, and I got 10% crazier than ever by getting up on a booth for the photo. The wind still bit pretty hard, especially in the shade. Gotta love the looks on the families’ faces that are coming to or from the College Basketball Experience. Not what they planned to witness! All for a fantastic cause. Whatever could I do with this event next year?
