Time for my twice-yearly Run After Dark™️. I promise, I had this run planned, with costume and playlist, well before Trans-Siberian Orchestra announced their tour dates. (ICYMI: TSO played a matinee and an evening show today.) It gave me the chance to rework the route so I was near T-Mobile Center when the evening crowd was filing inside. Was definitely NOT expecting the loading dock of the old KC Star building to be hosting a massive (unsanctioned, I assume) low-rider rally…? There was so much spinning out, I could barely hear my own music even blocks away, despite using 2 Bose Soundlink minis in L-R party mode. Plus the burned rubber in the air almost looked like a fire scene. The costume itself came together nicely, although I learned just yesterday that the lights I initially got didn’t, well, work. Thank the guitar gods for Amazon overnight delivery.
