Back on familiar streets with most of my run family. It was far more seasonal, if still pretty damp, and my pretzel sleeves couldn’t really push up. Nobody was confused what I was this time, and it’s the second time this year my costume pick predicted the event medal (first was Andy Reid at the Kickoff Run). Of course, running the course at an easier effort than last year made the hills seem much shallower. I got a fist bump from a HS kid who either said, “I love your costume!” or “I love you man!” I’ll take either.
