Tried out the ROCK Island Trail from the nearest point that Def Leppard was last seen in KC. But the set list is straight from the Hysteria Tour because I saw them in Manhappening, KS, in October 1988. Only in the multiverse did I ever have that hair, but today it was “bang it you got it.” I liked the trail, which was mostly paved except for a bit of wet gravel/mud in mile 4 through the turnaround. Among the unrelated but weird sightings: a log cabin with central A/C, and a few dozen port-a-loos stacked together so trail users can’t even get to them. Rude. This will be the last single-digit weekend run until my string of half marathons on 4/29, 5/13, and 5/27.
