This one was a monster to implement from what might have been a simple idea. The headband creating the levitating hat effect would NOT stay in place. Also, since (believe it or not) I’m not used to being nearly 8′ tall, every third tree branch yanked the hat right off. The lights were 100% twinkling at first, but in true Griswold comedy-of-errors fashion, all but a handful burned out when the wires wrapped around my leg snapped apart. If I can solve those challenges, this one could potentially see a comeback. The $10 felt Santa suit – an add-on from the Santa Dash – did not survive, nor did I expect it to.
