The first time I’ve run the Zoo Run without extra miles beforehand, since my long run comes tomorrow. Also the most humans I think I’ve ever seen at this event. (Runners are friends, not food.) It did get a bit sticky right away, and my face tasted fittingly like salt water. This was the final race in the Kansas City Classics series, and I’m already looking forward to dreaming up next year’s outrageousness when they announce the species.
