It’s not easy being green, and it’s really not easy staying green when you’re drenched in sweat. Inspiration for the costume came from The Muppet Movie being released the same year (1979) as the first Tiblow Trot. Never before, never again? The 5 mile course is insanely challenging – I guess I can’t complain about the hills in KCMO the same anymore. Super fun atmosphere, relatively small race but I’ll probably do this one again.
